Trained at IFPRO, she received her Diplôme D’Etat as a Teacher Of Jazz Dance in 2010 and then in Contemporary Dance (ARIAM). During her training, she performed in choreographic works with the Youth Ballet Jazz, directed by Rick Odums, and the Modern Dance Ensemble, directed by Pasqualina Noel.
Betty currently teaches at the International Jazz Dance Center (CIDJ), teaching students from the introductory to the elementary level, as well as at CRC of Vanves where she directs the jazz dance department. She actively participates in the educational lives of these two establishments by organizing workshops and developing art projects traversing or targeting dance.
In her classes, Betty ensures that students can learn, grow, and express themselves through dancing. Rhythmic work and dynamic changes are key works in her technique classes. Betty has an important attachment to the introductory and beginners courses (4-7 years). All of her work in discovery of the body, space, and time are done through games and through the development of bodily sensations and imagination. Since 2014, Betty uses student teachers in her classes as a support.
In addition to being a teacher, Betty also choreographs, and she created the company No Name in 2013 with whom she presented two choreographic works: “Page Blanche” and “A la sève de palmier j’écrirai mon nom”.
