Born in Italy, Stefania Pavan-Fecil studied ballet then jazz in her native country with Matt Mattox before receiving a scholarship to study at the Institute de Formation Professional Rick Odums in Paris. The latter entrusted her with the choreography for the end of the educational program “The Saga of Jazz Dance” in 1996.

She has also worked with choreographers Geraldine Armstrong, Rick Odums, Paolo Campos, Serge Alzetta, et Patricia Alzetta. She has participated in collective creations and complimented her professional training with African dance, modern, and hip hop.

Recipient of the Diplôme D’Etat and the Certificate of Aptitude in Jazz Dance from the Ministry of Culture, Stefania Pavan-Fecil teaches at the University of Paris Dauphine, at CRD of Pantin, at IFPRO, as well as at the National Center for Dance in Paris.

She has been a guest teacher for a number of workshops in France and abroad. Stefania Pavan-Fecil is a choreographer of the Jazz-Fin graduate variation – Entrée en CEPI-Fille, dance event of 2008, and of the variations for the concour of the French Fédération of Dance. She is also a tutor for the CA in Jazz Dance.

She participates regularly in events for the Diplôme D’Etat and Certificate of Aptitude as a member of the jury for the Ministry of Culture and for the French Federation for Dance.
